Cut from robust, high-weight 100% cotton denim, the “Rose” cropped jacket is constructed from deadstock fabric sourced from a South Moravian warehouse, where it has been preserved since the 1990s. The material offers substantial structure while allowing the silhouette to hold its distinctive shape over time. The design features kimono sleeves, a rounded back and a bold collar, creating generous volume through the upper body. A slightly fitted cut through the waist and hips subtly accentuates the figure, while contrast stitching and tailored seams define the lines of the garment. The detailed back paneling is engineered so that each seam has a clear structural and visual function. Cropped in length, this jacket sits neatly at the waist, making it well suited to high-rise denim, tailored trousers or fluid skirts. The interplay of its more angular, “macho-feminine” elements with the curved back and sculpted shape gives it a considered, modern character.
