For manufacturers & suppliers

Plug into the fashion production supply chain

Flence connects verified fashion manufacturers, fabric suppliers, tanneries, print-houses and finishing ateliers with independent designers and emerging brands who need reliable production partners.

Offer your services to hundreds of designers sourcing small-batch production, samples, technical services and manufacturing contracts — and win them with interactive Tech Packs, AI-assisted bespoke quotations and capacity-aware scheduling.

  • Continuous demand

Emerging designers, established independent brands and crowdfunded projects continuously need sampling, production and finishing partners.

  • Pre-qualified leads

Designers on Flence are vetted and often already funded through crowdfunding — reducing wasted quoting time.

  • Digital RFQs

Receive structured RFQs (specs, tech packs, quantities, timelines) instead of back-and-forth emails.

  • AI-assisted bespoke quotes

Turn a client sketch into an interactive Tech Pack: pin material datasheets and costs, generate AI concept renders, and send a bespoke quotation clients can accept and pay in one click.

  • Capacity-aware scheduling

Publish your lead times and seasonal availability. Only receive briefs when you can take them, and auto-plan committed jobs around your real capacity.

  • Showcase capabilities

Publish a verified manufacturer profile — categories, techniques, MOQs, certifications and portfolio of prior work.

  • Transparent contracts

Milestone-based manufacturing contracts for designers with Stripe-backed escrow keep both sides safe.

  • Europe-first network

Tap into fashion-forward markets across Italy, France, UK, Germany and the wider European ecosystem.

Who we work with

Flence's fashion production supply chain covers the whole value chain.

  • Sample rooms & ateliers: Sampling, toiles and development for RTW, jersey, tailoring and accessories.
  • Small-batch factories: Runs from 30 to 1,000 units for knitwear, woven, denim, leather, jersey.
  • Pattern makers & CLO 3D studios: Pattern making, grading and CLO 3D technical design for digital-first brands.
  • Fabric & material suppliers: Deadstock, sustainable certifications, printed fabrics, trims and hardware.
  • Tanneries & leather workshops: Finished leather, hardware, lining and accessories assembly.
  • Printing & finishing: DTG, screen, sublimation, embroidery, washing and specialty finishes.

How it works

  • 1. List: Create a verified manufacturer profile with capabilities, capacity and past work.
  • 2. Receive RFQs: Clients send a structured request with sketches, blueprints and material references — no messy email threads.
  • 3. Build a Tech Pack: Pin numbered material datasheets and cost options onto the sketch, iterate AI concept renders from blueprint to final, and attach your Bill of Materials.
  • 4. Send a bespoke quote: Attach pricing, MOQ, lead time and an expiry — the client reviews, accepts and pays securely, even without a Flence account (magic link).
  • 5. Schedule & produce: The job auto-opens as a production project with a materials checklist and capacity-aware scheduling; invite consultants to assist. Grow with reviews and verified badges.

Frequently asked questions

What is a Tech Pack and how do I send one as a maker?+

A Tech Pack is Flence’s AI-assisted technical proposal and quotation. From /tech-packs you attach the client’s sketches, pin numbered material datasheets and costs directly onto the sketch, generate AI concept renders of your material and finish choices, and set your price, MOQ, lead time and an expiry. You send it to a Flence client or to any email as a secure magic link — they review, accept and pay via Stripe with no account needed. Flence’s fee is 20% of the paid quotation.

How does the Production Scheduler work for makers?+

In the Production Scheduler (/scheduler) you publish your capacity, lead-time range, availability windows and blackout dates on a calendar, and toggle “accepting requests” on or off. Clients then see an “Available to produce” badge on your profile and Discover card. When a Tech Pack is accepted, a production project opens automatically with a client-materials checklist that blocks start until materials are received, plus a per-project chat and an AI planner that sequences jobs against your capacity.

Does Flence replace trade shows for manufacturers?+

It complements them. Many designers browse Flence year-round for sampling and production partners, beyond the Milan, Paris and NYC trade show calendars.

What does it cost to list?+

Listing a manufacturer profile is free. A small success fee applies only on completed contracts processed through the platform.

How are payments handled?+

Projects run under milestone-based manufacturing contracts with Stripe-powered escrow, so you can start production with confidence and get paid on delivery of each milestone.
