Kirei Mass — Sculptural Pearl & Chain Brooch

Mass explores the contrast between industrial structure and organic forms through a contemporary statement brooch. A stainless steel safety-pin-inspired structure supports a layered mesh of chains, from which pearls and metallic spheres of different sizes are suspended. The interplay between polished steel, luminous pearls and movable elements creates a fluid composition defined by contrasting volumes, lengths and textures. The rigid structure of the pin contrasts with the softness and movement of the suspended elements, transforming a functional accessory into a distinctive sculptural piece. Part of NUCLEUS, Mass explores the relationship between structure, material contrast and organic volume. Designed and assembled by hand in Spain in small series.
