Fragment explores the relationship between organic materials, transparency and movement through a contemporary sculptural brooch. Pearls of different sizes, transparent quartz chips, pearl fragments and stainless steel chains come together in an irregular, suspended composition. The contrast between luminous pearls, translucent quartz and polished metal introduces texture, depth and fluidity. Each element contributes to a distinctive visual rhythm, creating a piece that moves naturally with the garment. Fragment transforms the traditional brooch into a contemporary statement accessory where structure and organic forms coexist. Part of NUCLEUS, Fragment reflects Kirei's exploration of volume, material contrast and unexpected compositions. Designed and assembled by hand in Spain in small series. DETAILS • Materials: Stainless steel, shell pearls and transparent quartz • Finish: Polished steel with white pearl and clear quartz accents • Design: Sculptural brooch with suspended chains, pearls and quartz fragments • Collection: NUCLEUS CARE Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth and store separately to prevent scratches. Avoid direct contact with perfume, cosmetics, water and cleaning products. Handle the suspended elements carefully to preserve their arrangement.

Contemporary jewellery in stainless steel, pearls & 18k gold finishes — small-run, hand-assembled in Spain
Kirei is an independent contemporary jewellery brand based in Spain, creating small-run pieces with a strong focus on structure, contrast and unexpected proportions. Our collections combine stainless steel, 18k gold finishes, cultured and shell pearls, crystal and selected mixed materials. Each piece is hand-assembled in Spain, working with specialist manufacturers for selected components and, increasingly, developing proprietary elements created specifically for our designs. Kirei explores the tension between refinement and disruption: clean lines are interrupted by asymmetry, movement, scale or unexpected combinations of materials. The result is jewellery designed to feel distinctive without becoming excessive. Collections are produced in limited quantities, allowing us to maintain a selective approach to design, production and distribution.
