Handan is a London-based fashion designer and the founder of Handan London, a slow couture house where fashion becomes wearable art. Born in Istanbul and shaped by a background in advertising and storytelling, she approaches design as an emotional dialogue—creating garments that express individuality through art, narrative, and craftsmanship. Working primarily with natural fabrics, especially silk, each piece is made to order and crafted with intention. Her collections move beyond seasonal trends, focusing on timeless elegance, personal expression, and conscious luxury. Alongside couture pieces, Handan introduces One-of-One creations made from carefully sourced deadstock fabrics. These very limited garments honour sustainable making while offering a rare, more approachable ready-to-wear expression of the brand—each piece unique and impossible to reproduce.
