Projects
My ceramics are designed to act as catalysts for perception, helping to break the repetitive rhythms of daily life. I aim to create objects that allow people to pause and reconnect with their true selves. I am interested in expanding the concept of the 'functional.' While I produce cups, vases, and plates that serve the same practical purposes they have for centuries, I believe their utility can go further: to engage the subconscious and the unconscious. My process is one of 'dreaming in ceramics.' I hand-build every piece with almost no tools, which allows me to enter a state of flow where I am simply doing rather than thinking. This intuitive approach bridges the gap between my conscious and unconscious mind.
