@joseph_fortebraccio
Joseph Fortebraccio was born in Milan and has been immersed in photography since an early age, working alongside top professionals and mastering both analogue and digital techniques. His background on film shaped a distinctive visual language where light becomes the main creative tool, defining strong contrasts, precise details and intense lines. He has lived and worked in London, Paris, Hamburg, Los Angeles and Milan, collaborating on numerous international productions and assisting world-class photographers, experiences that allowed him to refine his technique and fully develop his personal style. As a professional photographer, he continues to travel worldwide for campaigns, catalogues, editorials and productions across fashion, advertising, fine art, automotive and luxury still life. Selected at a young age among the best national talents, he has received international recognition including awards from the International Association of Professional Photographers (TAU Visual) and Glossom Artwall. Driven by his passion for light and cinematography, he also works as Director of Photography for fashion films, commercials and music videos. As DoP, he won First Prize at the Berlin Film Festival in 2011 for Best Photography in a music video with “SinCity” by Shcmidt, and won the Genero.tv contest final for the video of Muse’s single “Animals”.
